    Presentation     Vineyard     Harvest

Situated to the heart of a vineyard of 13,10 hectares, the Château Taillefer has a privileged exposition on the side south of the plateau of Pomerol. Particularly rich in iron, the soil is a mixture of gravel and old sand, that is at the origin of its name. The vineyard is composed of 75% of Merlot and of 25% of Cabernet Franc. A short size, effeuillages and reasoned éclaircissages allow harvesting a perfectly healthy grape.
